The gas powered Tucson is powered by a 2.5L four cylinder mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that makes 187 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. The all-wheel drive hybrid Tucson is available in four trims Blue, SEL Convenience, N Line and Limited that are all powered by a 1.6L four cylinder that makes 180 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque that's mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The SEL trim comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, heated mirrors, LED headlamps and daytime running lights, heated from seats, intelligent cruise control system, an 8-inch touchscreen, a 6 speaker sound system, an HD satellite radio, 4 USB ports, Bluetooth and 2 12V power outlets.
The XRT trim gets 19-inch wheels, leatherette front seats, a class II hitch, side steps, a hands-free power liftgate, a roof rack, remote activated puddle lights, wireless device charging, a traffic sign recognition system and an auto-dimming rear view mirror and dual-zone automatic climate control.
Limited adds a power moonroof, cooled front seats, leather seats, driver seat memory, a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, a navigation system, front and rear parking sensors, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen.
Standard safety equipment across all Tucson models includes an active lane departure warning system, forward and rear collision mitigation, an active blind spot warning system, a driver attention alert, pedestrian detection and 6 airbags.
